FIRE

FIRE

Mayon-al

Fire types

It is said that the god of Mayon-al was first and foremost, a fighter with a terrible temper. With power drawn from pure and undiluted rage, the fire god sped through the world, moving plates of land, cracking them into pieces according to its will. Being of pure energy and primers of both creation and destruction, the z-god of Mayon-al sits on their volcanic throne, as the ruler of the first and primordial fire that warms the earth. Satisfied by its work, it created their own Forest of Fire, a realm hotter than any known hells where they are known to reside.

Its travels created volcanoes and rocky mountains, with hot springs and smaller fire forests decorating these haunts where their devoted followers, lesser warriors, spirits and lower Z-creatures would gather and reside.

The Zigbins of Mayon-al are fire manipulators and capable combatants. With heightened speeds, super strength, and competent shield casting, they are desirable companions if not for their rash and impulsive natures that have them rushing into the first signs of battle with only healers being able to challenge them into submission.

AIR

AIR

Amihan & Habagat

Air types

Twin souls in a single entity, the god of Amihan & Habagat is both a messenger and guardian to all Z-Creatures. The most amiable of the Z-creatures, these zigbins of the air are simple travelers and excellent navigators both on Alawan and the known world. As the ruler of the skies and master of winds, the z-god of Amihan & Habagat hovers over its domain with an elegance akin to majestic winged creatures with all-seeing eyes and a fierce conviction to protect its own.

Because of its affinity for information and ability to see locations in real-time, Amihan & Habagat have truces amongst the zigbin gods such as maintaining and delivering important missives to Mayon-al, leading Tubbataha to where they need to quell bursts of fiery destruction, and keeping Bakawanara safe and informed of Mayon-al’s movements.

It is this alliance with Bakawanara that maintains the few physical structures that air zigbins reside in. While known to populate the sky as flying Z-creatures, zigbins of the air reside in a Crystal Island surrounded by a network of floating landmasses and sky-trees. On land, you can find them in rocky mountains with caverns that house pockets of wind currents.

As spirit companions, these zigbins grant you remarkable balance and agility that aid in combat with heightened speeds and flight allowing you to scout and scope stretches of land and sea for all your adventuring needs. That said, air zigbins can only see from their vantage points in the sky and are not always privy to the structural secrets of the lands ruled by Bakawanara.

WATER

WATER

Tubbataha

Water types

There is only one force that can truly quell the fiery forces of nature and it is the god of Tubbataha that holds such power. Water heals in the ebb and flow, cleansing in its path, and enriching through an ever-expanding reach of rising and falling tides. They say that there are only two things that the z-god of Tubbataha does not know: when the worlds - both the known and Alawan were created, and how the first Zigbins, the gods themselves, came to be.

But water is memory. Tubbataha entrenches itself in the expansive sea, crossing lands through river systems creating spring pools that fall and flow through forests and mountains, spilling into lakes and lagoons and back into the ocean as we see it. Ruler of the oceans, seas, lakes, and all bodies of water in all shape and form, Tubbataha in its prime, created acres of ice and coral in its attempt to recreate Bakawanara’s ability to draw lines between land and water.

The Zigbins of Tubbataha share the abilities of healing and agility to counter most types of aggression and are able to move and shape water according to their wills. Some are even able to render themselves invisible and manipulate water sources into ice as both a healing and hostile force. Despite this flexibility, Tubbataha zigbins are only as strong as their nearest source of water and are often vulnerable to the whims of the wind that dictate most of their movement.

EARTH

EARTH

Bakawanara

Earth types

Bakawanara is unique in that it knows it came after Tubbataha - not that that would speak of its own might and ability. The natural preserver of the land, the God of Bakawanara is a solitary builder, preferring to be left alone and remains non-confrontational despite its sibling forces constantly threatening to scorch or erode the earth. Instead, the god of Bakawanara learned to build around destruction, allowing for natural systems to evolve and coexist as we see in the known world today with bodies of water so close to volcanoes and wind systems blowing through landscapes.

Despite those threats, Bakawanara z-creatures all share in the truce of the creation elements, allowing its god and lesser zigbins the ability to manipulate the weather as needed to mold the earth. The god of Bakawanara does not only foster forests, but all kinds of foliage that almost all life is dependent on. As a natural purveyor of living things, the zigbins of Bakawanara have a natural affinity to attune to flora, understanding the feelings, the histories, and the whispers of its greenery.
Dwelling in the densest of vegetations such as ancient jungles, domineering trees, and secluded isles, zigbins of Bakawara tend to keep to themselves and are often one of the last z-creatures you can reliably call upon for battle despite their immense strength and abilities to control both the weather and flora. When they choose their human masters, they are granted passage to the great tree of Bakawanara, allowed to feel the richest soil beneath their feet as the earth calls to them - to their first instinct to defend and not destroy.

FOOD

FOOD

Lami

Food types

When the metaspace was opened, it allowed oddities of zigbins to exist - one such of the worlds that stepped through was the Z-God of Lami. Creatures of cravings and cuisine, zigbins of lami believe in the maxim of “to eat and be eaten” as the ultimate maxim. As such, their dimension sprung mountains of cake, chocolate rivers, and an edible overgrowth of festivals of flavor.

In their arrival, this Kingdom of Calories has zigbins running around manipulating small landscapes into palatable palaces of food of various abilities to both heal and poison the consumer. With access points in gardens, hills, forests, and caves, zigbins of Lami are single-minded, and have only the desire to create delectable creations to feast on - regardless if these were nutritious or poisonous.

This single-mindedness does often cause an imbalance to the scales of life and death when their resulting creations can be fatal or rejuvenating. As such, the zigbins of Bulalakaw mandate Kongkreto zigbins to either transport them and their creations back to the Lami dimension, or to have Mayon-al zigbins destroy any excess that can further cause imbalances both in Alawan and the known world.

For their masters sakes’ the zigbins that do become spirit companions allow their humans to perceive the differences and intricacies of both filling and fatal food, providing them the same abilities to manipulate matter into edible creations that may heal or devour the consumer from the inside - depending on the chef’s choice.

FUTURISTIC

FUTURISTIC

Kongkreto

Futuristic types

A balance of mysticism and great intelligence, there are zigbins of Alawan that have made great advances that not even the known world cannot yet comprehend. Gifted but aloof, the god of Kongkreto shares with Bakawanara, a propensity to keep to itself. Rather than building and reshaping great landscapes, these zigbins set out to explore and discover scientific theories and have the ability to put even the most theoretical of concepts into controlled practical environments.

These are beings of both motherboards and metal machines that carry their individual functions. Still, with such singularity in purpose and function with each individual z-creature, they are still beings with a soul. In its dimension, they created a system of pocket spaces for their intellectual and scientific pursuits, organized and preceded by a supreme A.I., the true z-god of Kongkreto and keeper of the algorithms that run through this advanced dimension. Whether they're working with nuclear energy, metaspace manipulation, time-travel, and other technology, these pocket spaces need proximity to activity, so these zigbins hide out in cities, slums, network undergrounds, and clusters of buildings.
But metaspace travel can only go so far upon the warnings of the zigbins of Bulalakaw. While not all-seeing, Bulalakaw limits the zigbins of Kongkreto’s advancements and use of the technology after it opened the possibility and presence of the Lami, Kwadrado Kanto, and Anino Bahag-hari Zigbins. To maintain balance, Kongkreto adheres to the institutions Bulalakaw recommends, limiting their scientific pursuits and developing potentially harmful new technology - to work only with what they have already created, a rule extended to the masters of science that have sought Kongkreto zigbins as their own partners of intellectual pursuits.

UNDERWORLD

UNDERWORLD

Biringan

Underworld types

As in the known and the unknown, where there is light there must also be dark in Alawan. While the age and mortality of z-creatures remain a mystery, there lies a god of Biringan, the oldest of the zigbin gods, shepherd of the dead, and judge of the scales of morality and mortality. From scorched earths and dried up seas, Biringan curses and fashions the landscape into a realm of the undead and dying.

But this seemingly violent nature of the darkest zigbins are a misdirection - they are sentries of life, guiding peaceful souls into their final resting places and are punishers of the evil through unforgiving maledictions of fates worse than death. Governed by the wisdom of the all-knowing universe, the zigbins of Biringan are cradlers of mortals.

As such, the Biringan zigbins are highly attuned to a sense of morality that stays the forces of curses, killing, and judgment. Their masters must understand that deviations from the virtuous paths come at a price. When the desires for violence are unfounded, casters must carry a manifestation of the burden of responsibility - appropriated curses that preserve the delicate balance of the Biringan scales.

SPACE

SPACE

Bulalakaw

Space types

While it is known that Zigbins are mysterious creatures of immense power, there is a theory that perhaps these z-creatures are not of this earth at all, and may have come from a different celestial system entirely. One such reason comes from the fact that the god of Bulalakaw is the most eccentric of the z-creatures. There is a possibility that the metaverse manipulation technology allowed them access to a floating asteroid that they have now made into their home; or that the asteroid, with all the z-creatures in tow, came first.

The z-god of space and time watches and waits. Centuries. Millenia. Eons. Endless. None shall fathom its extent and none shall reach its depths. From time immemorial, this god had watched as universes came to life and halted to an end.

But alongside Kongkreto, the zigbins of Bulalakaw have almost the same abilities but have a higher level of perception. They see much yet not all, and they’re able to manipulate gravity, time, energy, and other natural forces. Their immense wisdom and mental capacity makes them natural leaders and caretakers of the delicate balance of the known worlds and Alawan. Whoever they choose to be worthy of their companionship will also be able to harbor the same abilities, some may even be able to tap into the vast secrets of time and space, provided they are strong enough to understand eons of existence.

When metaverse manipulation was created, it opened the world and Alawan into new beings. Not completely foreign, but not quite the same either. While Bulalakaw zigbins hold enough wisdom and ability to be the all-seeing judge to maintain order, their influence does not always hold against food, art, and alternate universes.

ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT

Kwadrado Kanto

Abstract types

If the zigbins of Lami are single-minded, then their exact opposite of the spectrum of oddities residing in Alawan and the known world are that of the zigbins of Kwadrado Kanto. Existing in a vastly different plane of perception, humans are only able to see mish-mashes of shapes and angles with limited discernible features beyond the basic known anatomy of a zigbin. In their dimension, these z-creatures are imperceptibly beautiful and we have only our limited mortal perception holding us back from seeing their true forms.

Complex and creative, these zigbins are constantly shifting in between planes and dimensions, able to time-travel and generate illusions. Defined and unlimited by the nature of their dimension, they have an advanced understanding and ability of art, music, sights and sounds, and heightened experiences of passion and creation.

When not hidden away between planes of perception, they lurk around great hallmarks of human creation - in magnificent architectures, curated museums, and naturally occurring miracles of color like rainbows. It is said their true nature and forms are revealed only to their masters as spirit companionship lends their humans the same heightened perception and ability to create. While not inclined for any kind of confrontation whatsoever, zigbins of Kwardado Kanto and their abilities naturally repel the science of Kongkreto and eludes the clutches of Biringan.

MULTIVERSE

MULTIVERSE

Anino Bahag-hari

Multiverse types

The reason for which Bulalakaw zigbins, in all its power, cannot yet influence nor perceive the zigbins of Anino Bahag-hari. An enigma of the highest degree, the Z-God of this unknown dimension - both origin and settlement, is said to have as many faces as there are choices that are made. Every branching possibility creates gateways to parallel universes, unlimited versions of what these z-creatures may truly look like.

Almost alien-like and inconsistent in its appearances, the zigbins of Anino Bahag-hari have no perceptible true forms - only an ever-changing impression that they change at will and and often as they desire. And despite this shifting nature, these z-creatures are not immortal, and are respectful of the authority that Bulalakaw and its enforcers from Biringan hold over all of Alawan. It would appear that these z-creatures simply want to exist in a safe space, without much interference from others and with little influence on the known world and Alawan.

For the worthy who have managed to gain an Anino Bahag-hari zigbin are not without promising shared gifts. Not only would their masters be able to perceive various multiverses, but they too would be able to shape-shift into the appearance of their multiversal counterparts. Depending on the strength and ability of the zigbin, they may even be able to tap into their multiversal counterparts’ memories, skills, and abilities, with applications for such power limited only by the enforced limitations of the zigbins in authority.
